The energy developed by most BB guns is 0.5 joules maximum - by comparison a funfair air gun is approximately 10 joules (20 times more). In normal use lightweight BB pellets would not penetrate the skin, but would certainly sting or bruise. We would not recommend firing at people but in any situation where the pellet could hit a person safety goggles and clothing should be worn.

Single shot bolt action rifle which needs to be assembled, metal and plastic construction the stock is wood effect plastic, the rifle fires 6mm plastic bb's (included with the rifle) and needs to be cocked every time to fire, speed loader and magazine are provided, scope can be fitted with the appropriate weaver mounts, mag capacity 28bb's, estimated range 60 metres, velocity 120 m/s, estimated power 1.5 joules
